adidas

Alphaskin

adidas asked Roundhouse to create an identity for their innovative new baselayer technology. We gave Alphaskin its name as well as its logo, messaging and global brand guidelines. We launched Alphaskin with a five athlete photoshoot and specific campaign storylines for each consumer journey. We also designed both the in-store displays and retail windows for five high-profile adidas locations, including their 5th Avenue Flagship store in NYC.

Chinese New Year

For Chinese New Year, Roundhouse partnered with adidas to tell a true Chinese Creator story. The campaign featured James Harden, Damian Lillard and Derrick Rose’s creator stories told through the creation of Chinese warrior sculptures. Co-designed by Chinese sculptor/creator Zen Rhe, the three ICONs communicated the qualities of a creator: Loyalty, Righteousness, Confidence and Courage.

T-Mac #175 to #1

Roundhouse, adidas and artist Jon Moody partnered to establish T-Mac as the Original Creator prior to his Basketball Hall of Fame induction. Using archival footage and Moody’s artwork, we turned T-Mac’s ascension from unknown high schooler to All-Star into a campaign and hashtag, #175to1. We highlighted his achievements with social media assets and a seeding kit that elicited personal messages from athletes and influencers.

Brand Flagship New York, 5th Ave

The store itself is an epicenter of NYC culture called The Stadium and features raw, urban materials. Roundhouse elevated the character of the gritty retail space with sport focused art installations that include wheat paste murals, pennants, championship style banners, a screen-printed poster series and more.

Climachill

adidas wanted Roundhouse’s help with some retail windows featuring ClimaCHILL, their new all-weather performance gear. The windows needed to be free of clings and didn’t offer a lot of depth for displays, but did present a lot of area to fill. Using a combination of layers and lights, we achieved a dynamic visual feel that conveyed depth, shared the spirit of the product and filled the large space without getting repetitive.

UltraBoost NYSP

adidas asked Roundhouse to elevate the Greater Every Run campaign for their NYC Broadway Sport Performance store windows. The arch, an UltraBoost shoe component, inspired the open architectural feel of the campaign creative. We adapted the shape and the campaign aesthetic to set up a large-scale, premium gallery-type exhibit. Our design utilized hidden and focused spotlights to invite people to approach and examine the shoes on display in their elevated form.
